"MycoFlow" lids solve all current issues/frustrations presented by traditionally modified mason jar lids. Our lids are extensively durable among a whole hose of other features:
- Our ConvectTek technology allows greater air exchange inside the jar, leading to faster colonization rates.
- No aluminum foil required! - Our lids are convex to allow water to flow away from orifices without ingress.
- Stackable design allows for quart-sized jars to be stacked during sterilization cycle or in colonization area
- MycoFlow lids come equipped with our 8mm purpose-designed injection ports already fitted.
- High temperature glass infused plastic allows for extensive durability and no warping during sterilization.
- Quick-cooling plastic tabs allows for easy 4-fingered pickups after sterilization cycle without burned digits.
- Easy lid removal using plastic tabs to for leverage

Love these lids!!!
After using regular mason jar lids, the Mycoflow lids are an engineering marvel. The design and care in the lids is impressive! II found the gasket to be a great addition. The injection port is quite thick, and has circular ridges on the sides to assure it stays put. I like the stacking feature of the "ribs" on the top. My only little bit of advice is to not tighten the lids super tight when you take them out of your PC. I had a bear of a time getting the lid open when I went to do an agar to grain transfer. Had to ask my partner to do it. Overall, I'm really happy that I bought the lids! You will be too!

these lids are awsome , specifically engineered for mycology. They can be used for grain spawn or liquid culture. Made from high-quality material, they are rigid and won’t flex, comes with thick silicon gasket, filters and injection port. highly recommend.

I've tested/made my own lids. Dr Mycology lids are far better in stack ability, injection port, air exchange, lid/jar sealing & GRIPPING wearing gloves.
