How MGP Plus Works
The beneficial Bacillus strain in MGP Plus creates a natural biofilm barrier that helps defend against contamination from Trichoderma. Because this protective layer takes approximately 8 days to establish, MGP Plus should be applied during the spawning-to-bulk stage for best results.
Directions for Use
Liquid Application
- Add 2 grams of MGP Plus to a 1L spray bottle
- Store in a cool area away from direct sunlight
- Use within 6 months for best performance
- Mist substrate thoroughly while mixing spawn with bulk substrate
- Use at least 8–10 sprays per 400g of bulk substrate material
Dry Application
- Add 1 gram directly into substrate and mix thoroughly before use

Fast shipping and I appreciate the product. I do notice a bit of increase in yield and less trich issues. My last pack seemed a little old and didn't last as long as the one before but it still helped for awhile. This one will be good or better I'm sure. I like sterilizing and using this product over pasturizing. So far

I love this stuff, I’ve been purchasing it for a while now. And I don’t think I’ll stop as long as it’s like I have The place to get it: I had a slight trich Problem and was never getting a full flush and I don’t want to knock on wood, but since I started using this, I have not had one problem with trich And I’m getting full flushes 85% of the time

This is by far the best product I've purchased for cultivation, soaked a block in the mix for 24 hrs and my God the mushies are twice as big an it also helped get rid of a bit of contam!!! I'm definitely sold, thanks Dr. Myc!

This is a game changing product. 1st use and I got twice the number of flushes I normally see. This is now part of my routine and I’ve consistently seen less trich and an increase in the number of flushes. Thank you!!

MGP Plus(+)
Was recommended Just the Trich by a friend and decided to try MGP+ a while ago. Super happy with the results. I got it mostly to deal with the agony of contams either at the start of or the middle of a run. Was very happy with the results. When comparing against previous results, I wasn't looking for crazy increased growth as much as resistance to contams in an environment that was prone to that. Comparing against past data, I had a bit of increase in growth, but more importantly, a lack of contams...at least not until much later than I had experienced previously. Very happy with results and am trying out the Platemate and Premix. Response from Doc to questions or inquiries has been quick and helpful.
