How MGP Plus Works
The beneficial Bacillus strain in MGP Plus creates a natural biofilm barrier that helps defend against contamination from Trichoderma. Because this protective layer takes approximately 8 days to establish, MGP Plus should be applied during the spawning-to-bulk stage for best results.
Directions for Use
Liquid Application
- Add 2 grams of MGP Plus to a 1L spray bottle
- Store in a cool area away from direct sunlight
- Use within 6 months for best performance
- Mist substrate thoroughly while mixing spawn with bulk substrate
- Use at least 8–10 sprays per 400g of bulk substrate material
Dry Application
- Add 1 gram directly into substrate and mix thoroughly before use

Must have for me
I have been using this product for the last 5 to 6 years of constant cultivating and I have seen better and faster colonization, faster pin onset and healthier fruits! Also I don't want to jinx myself but haven't had any issues with contamination. I've been doing this for over 20yrs as a hobby and love it but I wish I would've came across this product in the beginning then maybe I wouldn't have had the amount of loss due to contamination and better results all around. I've done side by side comparison using the same species, grain and substrate, one with and one without the Drmyc mgp plus and it was undeniable proof that this stuff is amazing and works as described and then some, so I'm happy to take the time to review it for these guys and btw I'm not being compensated for this review in anyway I just want anyone that might be hesitant to use it or has been told it doesn't work that they can be assured that it most certainly works and works very well, I did the tests to prove to myself. Like I said in my title it's a must have in mycology, I don't grow without now and one pack lasts me around 30 to 40 grows so the price shouldn't scare you either. Love this product
My flushes have been amazing, but the real highlight is that I use the powder during the rehydration of my tubs and my flushes have increased exponentially. Sometimes up to 3-4 full flushes with large fruits.

Freaking insane!!!
I grew a first round before having this stuff and got a satisfying flush from my monotub. Then I got this stuff, injected it into the substrate/mycelium, as I read about elsewhere. My second flush was bigger than the first! I harvested that flush, injected this product again, and it is pinning 4 days later. This sh*t is insane! From the other source, I was instructed to make up the solution as DRMyc instructs, but then to inject it into the cake using a meat syringe, about every 10 cm, until is starts bubbling up the surface, then gently dabbing up any excess so you don’t encourage contamination.
